News Release

8th March 2023

We are pleased to announce the release of the Top 20 Inspirational Women of the African Diaspora Professional Women (ADIPWO) list for 2023. This list recognises and celebrates outstanding women who have made significant contributions in various industries and are putting Africa on the global map.

For the past nine years, ADIPWO has had the privilege of selecting 20 women who have inspired us with their work and commitment. This year’s list showcases a diverse range of women who are making a remarkable impact and inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2023 with the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” we are thrilled to see that many of the women on the list are paving the way in the most advanced digital technologies and other prime industries. We hope that their success will inspire many more women to pursue opportunities in the digital space.

“It’s an honour to recognise these amazing women who are making a difference in their own lives and the lives of others,” said Francine Beleyi, founder of ADIPWO. “Every year, we are inspired by so many African women in the diaspora and on the continent who are using their talents, passion, and skills to make a positive impact.”
