đź’”My heart broke in pieces last Friday (17/07/2020) when I got that call! For a moment, the world stopped.

Receiving the news that any daughter dread! Those of you who have been through this know what I am talking about.

Almost 3 years ago, my dad left us and now mum has joined him, leaving us with our sorrow! My parents were so close together that only death took them apart. They are now back together again.

As I go through my own pain, grief and sorrow I can’t help thinking about all of you who have lost a loved one this year, in these very difficult times, when it’s impossible to get to say farewell properly due to the extreme circumstances/restrictions we are living in now.

My mum was a strong and courageous woman, straight shooter, very entrepreneurial who was not afraid to go after her dreams and kept a strong faith until her last breath.
Her wish for me will be to carry on, be strong and keep going despite my sadness.

Rest in peace, mum. Que la terre te soit légère, maman ! Repose en paix.

How did you go over the loss of both your parents or loved ones to find peace and comfort?
#RIP
